Goals for 2008 - 2009	1. Pioneers will hold two membership meetings during the year—one at the Convention and one at the Spring Conference. 2. Pioneers will publish their newsletter twice yearly. 3. Pioneers will award $1,000 in scholarship money. 4. Pioneers will hold their annual auction at the ICEC Convention. 5. Pioneers will continue to conduct oral histories.

Suggestions and Recommendations	Be sure to donate items for the Pioneers Silent Auction to be held at the ICEC Convention.

Activities	1. Do you have your item ready to donate to the Pioneers silent auction which will be held on Friday of the convention? Elda Buchanan is soliciting items for the silent auction and welcomes all donations. We thank Elda for her work in coordinating this auction. 2. Pioneers are planning to conduct oral history presentations for Friday afternoon of the Convention following their business meeting and wishes to confirm that we will have space allotted for this. 3. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded at the Pioneers Annual Business Meeting on Friday afternoon of the ICEC convention. Thanks to Robin Griswold for chairing the scholarship committee. 4.
