1) Increase membership in our region.
2) Communicate with local chapters regarding ICEC and CEC information.
3) Encourage chapter and regional activities and improve collaboration between SIU-C and Eastern Illinois’ student chapters and the Williamson County chapter
4) Assist in professional development activities
5) Attend Regional Director and ICEC Board meetings and disseminate Board materials
6) Attend Fall Convention planning meetings and assist with Career Connections and Convention evaluation process.

Region VI Director
1) Spoke at WCSED Back to School meeting to encourage membership in CEC and attendance at the ICEC Fall Conference.
2) Sent out Welcome Back follow-up letter to WCSED with membership website links and additional information.
3) Communicated with Faculty Advisors at SIU-C and Eastern Illinois University and relayed information from the last board meeting.
4) Included a Student Welcome letter encouraging student CEC membership, attendance at Fall Conference, and use of CEC, ICEC and Student websites.

Williamson County Chapter #186
1) First meeting of the year will be on Oct. 1 at 4:00 at Louis’ P and R. We will begin planning our Drive-in Conference and Transition Fair.

2) SIU-C Student Chapter #321 and Eastern Illinois University Student Chapter # 771 – I am waiting to hear from the faculty advisors concerning new student officers and planned activities for this year.
