Report Number   5     Committee   President-Elect Report     Chairperson   Betsy Murphy   Contact     Committee Members         Reflections on 2007 - 2008   • Have had the opportunity to learn the skills and knowledge needed to be an effective president for ICEC • Have had the opportunity to participate in Committee meetings • Meeting with Regional Directors has provided an opportunity to learn about and discuss chapter activities that promote active member participation • Through the Ray Graham Award process have had the opportunity to learn about activities and programs that support our students and chapter activities • Have had the opportunity to work with talented individuals that have much to offer the organization in terms of planning events and conferences • Have enjoyed working with President Tratt and look forward to continued collaboration     Suggestions and Recommendations   To include a copy of our mission statment and "person first language" position when scheduling speakers for future conferences.       Activities           Action Items
