"Autism Inside out: Stories from a Personal Perspective"
Presented by: Marty Murphy, Autism Educational Consultant and Jacquie Mace, Consultant
Marty is an adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder who has a degree
from the University of Arizona. She gives a unique, personal look
into the world of autism. With amazing insight she shares the emotional
influence of living with autism along with the many facets of how and
why things affect her. With knowledge and humor, Marty delivers
an energetic message, providing answers to and strategies for many
of the challenges that parents and educators face.

“Exceptional Children’s Week” - Recognition of special education students and staff.
- Registration fee is due one week before each meeting: $10 for CEC members, $25 non-members, and $5 for students. Everyone registering after the deadline will be charged an additional $10.
- Included in the fee are: handouts, dinner by Hamilton’s Catering, & cookies by Pathway Stakeholders.
- Make checks to CEC Chapter 99. Send to: Tammie Powell, 788 Brogdon Rd., Jacksonville, IL 62650. Include name, address, phone, email, and school (if appropriate).
- Reserve your place for ALL meetings and receive one free meeting by sending a check to the above address by September 9, 2008. CEC members = $50 Non-members = $125 Students = $25
- Participants at all meetings (with the exception of the banquet) will be given CPDU’s
and/or a certificate.
- Join CEC or renew membership at one of Chapter 99’s meetings and receive a
$15 rebate. (Students $30)
- Everyone (parents, friends, community members, etc.) is invited to attend all of
Chapter 99’s meetings.
